Q. Is this testosterone the same as that being used by athletes I read about? A. Not likely. Athletes and body builders typically use synthetic testosterone made in a laboratory know as "designer testosterone". It is designed to push testosterone to very high levels which usually results in a corresponding rise in estrogen - it stresses the body and is therefore unhealthy. The testosterone we use is bioidentical to the testosterone produced naturally by your body - it comes form plant sources. We take your testosterone to natural levels that you had at age 25 to 30. It is safe and effective. |

Q.What about oral HGH or HGH stimulants that i see advertised on the web? A. Advertisements that claim they have real HGH in a spray or pill may in fact contain small amounts of HGH. However, it has been medically proven that HGH cannot be absorbed through the membranes of th e mouth, skin or digestive system. Stimulants have some effect on people under age 35 but very limited. For the most part, claims of results far out-weigh the actual results. |

Q. Does growth hormone have to be injected? A. It is the only medically proven way growth hormone can enter the body and be absorbed correctly. |

Q. Will hormone therapy help with problems of sexual function?
A. Sexual function can have many causes; however, replacing hormones is the best way to start treatment. We suggest raising your testosterone to a healthy level along with growth hormone, (if cost is not a prohibitive factor), to boost your sex drive. There are also non-prescription products such as L-Arginine that increase the amount of nitric oxide in the blood to aid sexual mechanics. If there is still need for assistance, consider something like Viagra, Cealis, Lavetra. This process has been found to fix over 90 percent of problems of sexual function issues. We strongly recommend not using a product such as Viagra without first taking care of testosterone levels. Using only Viagra, you may find that you have an erection but lack the will/desire to use it. |

Q. Will hormone replacement cause my natural hormone production to decline? A. Yes, if glands are not stimulated as part of treatment. The follow on side effect is an actual shrinking of the testicles. We do not allow that to happen. A good treatment program will stimualte glands -- pituitqry and testicles -- as a standard part of treatment. this is particularly important for those wanting to father children. See testosterone |
