Growth Hormone (HGH)

Human Growth Hormone (HGH) decline starts at about age 26 and deficiency can be identified by age 35.  Due to its role in the hormone system and the remarkable results it has shown in rejuvenating the body, it well deserves the praises it has received. There is simply no other cause of body decline more important than that caused by declining growth hormone. The rejuvenating effect of replacing this hormone to younger levels, particularly when taken with testosterone and thyroid in men & estrogen and thyroid in women, is very exciting and can not be overstated.

Human Growth Hormone is an endocrine hormone that is produced by the anterior portion of the pituitary gland. It is made up of 191 amino acids. Production of HGH decreases with age. Virtually every system in the human body is in some way dependent on HGH for proper functioning. HGH begins to decline in the late 20's and declines steadily until production is reduced by as much as 90 percent by age 70.

HGH replacement therapy is quickly going to the forefront of rejuvenating medicine. It has been shown that as we age our body's natural GH production decreases. Many of the symptoms of body decline are seen as a result of this decrease. More importantly, clinical evidence and recent medical research clearly demonstrate that by replacing HGH in deficient adults, we can significantly eliminate these symptoms, reduce body fat, increase lean muscle mass, strengthen the heart and improve sexual performance.

Studies and our experience with Human Growth Hormone have shown it reverses physical decline by:

  • Increased metabolism and ability to control weight
  • Average gain in muscle mass of 9 percent and loss of 14 percent body fat without doing anything different
  • Increase in lean body mass of approximately 19 percent in six months.
  • Decrease in body fat, especially abdominal fat by 24 percent in six months without dieting
  • Increase in bone mass.
  • Reduces wrinkles and promotes younger healthier skin
  • Increase in REM sleep
  • Increase in organ size of approximately 10 percent (internal organs, including the brain, shrink with age).
  • Increase in immune response (resistance to illness)
  • Lower serum cholesterol
  • Increase in sexual function
  • Accelerates wound healing
  • Reverses muscle wasting
  • Increased sense of well-being
  • Enhances brain function and grows neuron dendrites
  • Reverses heart disease and increases cardiac output and exercise performance
  • Reduces fatigue
  • Protects the body against the ravages of stress

The above results can be expected over a period of three to six months. As with other hormones, you can not simply take HGH and expect it will work its wonders. You must have good lifestyle practices of being active and watching your diet. It is also critical that other hormones are at healthy levels.

An article in a recent issue of Preventive Medicine Magazine, speculated on the improved quality of life, and money that could be saved if every man and woman over the age of 35 took growth hormone. The contribution to improved health, quality of life and decrease illnesses, would be an immense saving in personal suffering and health care costs.

We frequently get calls from men and women over age 35 inquiring about HGH therapy. We tell them while they may see positive results with HGH alone, much better results are achieved if they ensure other hormones are at healthy levels and lifestyle issues are in line.

We have always speculated on a synergy (value added) relationship between HGH and testosterone.  A fascinating new study done by Blackman and Harman shows the synergy between HGH and testosterone.

 Males                                                 HGH               Testosterone (T)        HGH & T

Lean body mass                       5.7%                            3.1%                    8.3%

VO2 Max                                NC                              NC                      7.4%

% body fat decrease                 13%                             6%                       21%

TAF by MRI                            5%                               5%                       14%

Cholesterol decrease                NC                              7.6%                    10.9%

HGH is taken by daily injection with a small painless needle.

Side effects such as water retention and joint pain are rare and are usually only present for a short time until the body adjusts to levels it once had. This is easily controlled by adjusting the dose.

You should absolutely use HGH...
  1. If you are age 35 or older and have lab tests showing GH deficiency.
  2. If you can use HGH within your financial means

Facts

  • HGH is a very safe hormone capable of producing significant results.
  • HGH must be taken by injection for best results.
  • There is a new product called Semorelin which is also an injection and is used as a stimulant to cause the pituitary to produce more HGH.  We can discuss this option with you.
